Some of the shit written on this site is unbelievable if we are to sign HM, after what we have achieved but some posters on here, think know better than Pep and co.
Look at this YouTube against us look at

Positioning
Aerial ability
Pace against Leroy
Passing and drive out of defense

I think he'd be fine for us, but are we supposed to be impressed by this clip? It's mostly unremarkable passing from the back and defending that any high level centerback would be expected to do. Three quarters of the way through theres a blatant pen on Bernardo.

Bravo’s been injured but is still in the squad knobby!
In fact actually he’s going to be displacing a younger keeper to get his place back.
Bravo was never a long term solution and in fact was a palette cleanser, a transitioning keeper from joe to ederson.

Nolito never settled but did what we asked of him in his stint here, you can’t say fairer than that.

You are a strangely hate filled poster

How can I be strangely hate filled for giving my opinion on two players?

I've stated that Pep gets transfers right 90% of the time, I've stated a few transfers which haven't quite worked. Nothing "hate filled" about it.

Most of our squad I rate very highly, but if it meant being able to buy a foreign CB which would be better value for money than a homegrown CB, I would get rid of Bravo immediately to free up that foreign spot.

It's a no brainer.

Everybody is available at the right price, even Mbappe.
Does the club want to sell, does the player want to come, what kind of wages do they want, is he an idiot. if we give them what they want will it blow the wage structure with everyone seeking a bump in wages. There is a lot to factor in.
Take Neymar for instance personally I can't stand him, but he may sign for you one year and then agitate for a move like he is within 18 months.
City don't need that kind of character no matter how good.

Sometimes the best player out there is not necessarily the right fit for your team or for your club.

You know what, I actually agree with you, your posts really are no-brainers.

If you'd bothered to watch the game you'd know that was nothing to do with the central defensive partnership - but you've got an agenda and are busy boring us all to death. Sure have an opinion and you are more than welcome to voice it but fucking hell - talk about droaning on.... hope I never get sat next to you on a flight to LA.

Stones dawdled on the ball and conceded a goal, Maguire also lost possession in dangerous areas which nearly resulted in goals for the Netherlands. He had a very uncomfortable evening, they both did. As did Walker.

That is with taking the blue tinted specs off as well.

Stones was over 50m pre Neymar and bearing in mind most non Blues think Maguire is way better than JS, it's easy to see why he's so expensive.
Does he have leadership skills?

I completely agree with you.

Fine thats your opinion but that opinion is him playing in a none Pep team Laporte isn't rapid!
Do you know much about Pep Guardiola's teams. He doesn't fill his side with fast athletes, most of his training work alongside Buenaventura involves mainly only ball work and positioning, very little to do with 100 metre sprints, hill sprints or weights. He isn't after athletes who are faster than anyone else, he's after a player who can come into his side and instantly play the way he wants them to play through 3 rules of defending, 15 pass techniques, high lines and controlling the spare man. Maguire can do this in an England and a Leicester team but he isn't surrounded by tactically and technically good players in both of those sides to be able to implement the solid defensive positioning pep wants in a team.
You don't have to be "rapid" to play for a Pep Guardiola team, you just have to be intelligent enough to defend, press high, be able to change positions during a game if someone bombs on and covers, and control the opposition's counter attacks with speed of thought and positioning. Personally whenever Maguire is attacked by a team who press high, overload one side of a pitch or counter effectively within 8 seconds like a German side can he makes mistakes. Even more so when a team plays with a false nine, he hasn't got the intelligence and positional sense of this moment to drop back a few yards, and is found diving in as he did against Croatia and Holland leaving the last man exposed. I could be here all day finding clips of mistakes where he's the one caught out of position for Leicester before Rodgers was hired, and also even when Rodgers was at the club.

Maguire is superb in the air, don't get me wrong but he has ALOT to work on to become anywhere near the defender we want him to be. John Stones is more compatible to a Pep side than Maguire is so I don't see why we are going for a defender who is not an upgrade on Stones.
