What’s happened to him? Not seen him play for a long time.

He shockingly went to Milan in summer 2017, they gave him the captain's armband (I'm still laughing about this), he said he'd be there to lead the team etc etc. He then proceeded to have a horrible season at Milan and came back to us in summer 2018 among the insults of the fans.
We didn't like to see him back but we thought that maybe being back with Chiello would make him perform at his old level. He instead made a bunch of costly mistakes during the season and wasn't as reliable as he had been in the past. He wasn't as bad as he had been for Milan of course, but it's clear that his best years are behind him and going to Milan for that single season has probably put a negative turn in his career.

Can't see it.
Leicester would be mugs to accept add ons which would never be paid.
Will be based on appearances.

In practice appearances make more sense but they can put players off as they can create an incentive not to play someone. Doesn't work out that way often but if a player is approaching milestone/trigger and they have iffy form / not 100% settled? It's especially a problem with cash strapped clubs.

It's completely irrelevant to an £80m Centreback though isn't it? United aren't going to bench their only CB to avoid paying out an incentive.
