He's done it before to get rid of JM and could do it again to get his move.
 
Not sure if posted but according to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla United are close to signing Maguire for £81m.

The media does seem to say that and we well may be but from my own personal point of view, Harry Maguire isnt half the payer De Ligt is.
