Maguire would be error prone in our defence imo. Just as like as Stones can be. Even a very solid Laporte had his fuckups in a high level CL game and that cost us a lot.

Committing errors here and there isn't a problem, the problem is HM has zero recovery pace to fix them. Maguire defending on the half-way line is a frightening prospect.

I agree with this. As far up as we push our CBs, I really don't think he could get back fast enough to defend.

Ottamendi, Stones and Komps to an extent have hardly shown Linford Christie pace at the back over the last few years. Id even say I along with a fair amount of Blues were filled with dread when we saw Komps on the team sheet against Leicester. If I recall Vardy hardly got a kick.
