Harry Redknapp, the Tottenham manager, denied today that he was set to leave the club following rumours that saw odds on him becoming the first Premier League managerial casualty of the season drop dramatically.
“I'm definitely not leaving. It's absolute nonsense, absolute rubbish. I couldn't be happier than I am here,†said Redknapp.
Some rumours have suggested Redknapp could be set to go to Portsmouth for the third time following the apparent problems surrounding the latest takeover at Fratton Park.
But Redknapp added: “I left Portsmouth over a year ago and I'm happy here. I don't know where these rumours come from.
"I just hope that the guy [al-Fahim] sticks to his word and gives the club the money.
“It's difficult for Paul Hart I brought him to the club and it's sad and the fans must be very disappointed.â€
Meanwhile Redknapp takes Spurs to Bolton and is hoping that Jermaine Defoe will be given the go ahead to play despite dislocating and breaking bones in his hand.
