Hart must come back next season

When will people realise dominating your box "IS" part of a goalkeepers make up !
Our defence has never been as shaky and will never be solid with "Shay Given" as keeper !

I like how you've written ''shay given'' as if you think it's all an elaborate hoax and he's not really shay given

I am so glad it aint just me i was guner start a new topic about this cause i dont think given is the keeper hes cracked up to be,as a shot stopper you wont get an argument from me probably the best in the world, but like others have said his total no show for crosses is really starting to get on my nerves now.

Take the rooney goal and yes i know he made a cpl of cracking saves, but if he had just come out and got somthing on it that game would have gone to extra time, and the amount of goals we now concede from headers round the 6 yard box is very worrying now.And another thing starting to piss me of about shays game is his kicking to, take my word for it and watch him when he kicks it out 70 odd % of the time it gose stright back to the oppostion, anyway end of moan.

p.s. i dont know if the answer is to bring joe back but in the summer i think we do need a serious re-think on our goal keeping position

were in February,we've lost 3 games all season and you're pissed off over how many clean sheets we've kept.
like i said.....ffs
Another "hughes - weve only lost three games" smart arse, Liverpool lost only two , How many UTD lost
POINTS make prizes ! Anyway have a word with the Geordies and here wat they say about Shay.

another one that isn't happy unless they have something to be pissed off about

If Hart is our GK for the future and we are building something big for the future, why not let Hart grow with what we are building...........Nothing against Given

Exactly, As a manager or coach you attack your opponents weaknesses, If I was an opposing manager to play us I would be telling my players to stick the ball on the 6 yard line for the attackers because the keeper wont come for it,
Weve conceded a few goals from that scenario, there is a pattern emerging.

Joe Hart was another victim of the Mark Hughes "I'll shit on anyone's reputation to save my own bacon" technique of management. Around Christmas last season he decided that his previous excuses as to why he had fucked up the defence were running out of steam so he decided to tell everyone that the defence had gone from solid to absolutely shit under his management because he had a young keeper in net (never mind that the keeper had played in a solid defence the previous season or that his performances had still been of a good standard).

Hughes did hiis usual trick of slipping in veiled criticism of Hart whenever he could and waiting for numpties in the press and amongst the fans to start repeating it and then believing it. (FFS we still have some fans who still believe the shit about Hart being rubbish and dodgy for us when he was nothing of the sort).

The proof of the pudding was that Given came in, played to the maximum of his ability and very well and the defence was still fucking shite. Proving that Hughes was talking bollocks - Hughes then moved on to blaming Richards, Dunne and whoever else he could snipe at and undermine without actually having the guts to actually say it.

Hart has always been a great keeper and never let City down

Don't agree. Given is poor on crosses, doesn't dominate his area and his distribution is too often woeful. He is a top-class shot stopper though.

I'd completely agree with that.

We've conceded quite a number of headed goals this season ..... and they're not all the fault of having a dopey pair of centre-backs ......

Given doesn't come for crosses , and from that confusion reigns in our box!

Agreed. Joe has been outstanding for Brum this year and is a major part of the reason that they are currently punching above their weight (imho).

He will be England's number 1 (once he gets his full international break) for at least a decade.
