Hart must play in the final

People said this when we played Wigan in FA Cup final.......... Did us no good then having him between the sticks!

Regardless of who plays in net we'll still get battered as we've been dog shit all season and the fact that some pundits are only just starting to notice it now proves how fucking dog turd their analysis of football really is!

Pretty stupid comment about who played in net against Wigan. Would be like saying Aguero did nothing in that final so we should start someone from the U19's instead.

Willy isn't half the keeper that Hart is. However if the manager has promised a player this game he must play him otherwise the squad will not be able to trust him, and the squad must trust it's manager
Then he's promised to play somebody in a match regardless of form. Again his own fault.

If losing the trust of the players is the issue, sit them all down and say "Willy Wonka had the shirt to lose but after his inept display at Chelsea, he has indeed lost it. Now raise your hand if you want him to start in front of Joe."

Let's be honest if Hart doesn't start then we might aswell play the kids and save the rest of the team for Liverpool away. Will be cooking raging if Caballero starts and will be a huge boost for Liverpool

Remarkably we are the favourites to win for some reason. Liverpool really must be shite.

When it comes down to ability and passion, Hart wins hands down over Willy Warmer, but even though the fans (or 98% of them) can see this, Pellegrini just follows the same traits that gets managers the sack. Pig-headed stubbornness and a desire to prove that he is right and that the paying audience know nothing about the game. He isn't the first manager to go this way and he won't be the last, but as a dead man already walking then he probably no longer gives a toss.

That last sentence sums it up. His long term friendship with Willy probably trumps anything else currently. We will see but I would be very surprised if he changed his habits at this late stage. He is effectively our caretaker manager at the moment. Sacked and given his job back on a 6 month contract basis.

I'm dead against us playing Caballero but I'm certain that's what's going to happen. That said, I think it would do us all a world of good to try and stop freaking out so much about it. It doesn't mean we're DEFINITELY going to lose. I think there's a lot of focus on him at the moment but our entire team needs to raise its game if we're honest. Whilst it's very frustrating, his inclusion might not be as much as a deal breaker as we fear it might be.

For all his faults, I've noticed that when the ball is smashed at him from point blank range, willy is actually a pretty decent shot stopper. His distribution is in the ball park of satisfactory also. Who knows, he might even step up and produce a man of the match performance and become a bit of a cult hero , zero to hero sort of thing.

We need to get behind the lads on Sunday whoever starts and enjoy the trip down to Wembley and savour another cup final. I for one can't wait!

I've accepted joe won't start so it's just a case of getting on with it.

If Manuel starts Caballero due to not wanting to go back on his word, putting that ahead of what's best for the club, then he's beyond the pale as far as I'm concerned.

There's a survey on the MEN web Hart or Willy for Sunday - the result so far 91% Joe; 9% Willy.
The same web site claims that MP has already told Willy he will be starting that game.
Any chance of kidnapping the pair of clowns on their return from Kiev?

This is our best chance of a trophy this season and for this reason Hart must play. If we were in the box seat for all trophies then there is a good shout for sharing the medals, but we still have work to do. Trophies first, personalities second.

On one hand Manuel seems a man of his word, on the other he might not give a fuck with his job gone at the end of the season. I guess we'll see.

If I were Willy, I would walk up to the Gaffer myself and tell him to play Joe instead of me for the benefit of the team.
