Hart studies every Casillas move in bid to be world's best keeper

Joe Hart is adapting his game to try to become the best in the world after studying footage of Real Madrid's World Cup-winning captain Iker Casillas.
The Manchester City and England keeper, already regarded as world class, wants to move up to another level by emulating the way Casillas combats strikers in one-against-one situations.
He is also keen to keep his concentration like the Spain No 1 when his team are dominating games.
Hart, 25, has been City's most consistent player in their title tussle with Manchester United and is one of six nominees for the PFA Player of the Year.
But, as he approaches Euro 2012, the 6ft 4in goalkeeper believes he has to get away from the traditional English approach of goalkeepers diving at the feet of oncoming strikers to force them to shoot.
'I'm trying to work out exactly how Casillas manages to react to what the forward does, instead of trying to force the striker into a decision, like I have done until now,' said Hart.
'It's better doing it his way, using your reflexes rather than trying to anticipate what is going to happen. I'm working on it - it's something I need to learn.

It's excellent that he wants to get better and better and isn't believing the hype as there is still quite a lot he can do to improve. Well done Joe.

I think Hart is the world's best goalkeeper already

Well Hart has conceded two goals less than Casillas this season , although he's played one game more , so there's little to choose between them in my eyes .......... and many would argue that the Premiership is a tougher league than La Liga.

And Casillas has also conceded about half a dozen more than Barcas keeper has.

And Casillas has conceded a fair few more than Barcas keeper.

Also, take into account the quality Casillas faces outside of maybe 3 teams in La Liga compared to the quality Of football Joe faces week in week out in the strongest league in Europe. Casillas may be lucky to make the top 3 in England. Hart, Cech and Reina would all give him a challenge in our league in my opinion.
