Has anyone put their central heating on yet?

Jeez!!! It’s September ffs… still wearing my shorts.

The only difference for me so far is that it took a bit longer to descend into a sweaty mess during my morning run this morning than during the last few months, and I managed to summon the energy to take in a few inclines and a slightly longer distance.
I'll be visiting Hathersage outdoor pool tomorrow, swimming in my Speedos and looking forward to an exhilarating life affirming swim.
Central heating in September? Certainly not!

It was a bit nippy last nite ( no pics !) chilly out today , extra layer last nite and warm pj's out of the drawer

Need to put some pressure in the boiler and switch it back on to see if it works or not

Wife wanted it on this morning to take the edge off, won’t be going on again the weather is bonkers it’s boiling out now.

Hot as balls yesterday and more of the same for today.
Going out on a friends boat to float around in the lake and drink beer.
Air conditioning is on. Last week it was 2c at night.

Our humidity reading is 52 and it says our temperature is currently 26C, but that's bollocks because I'm sat here Right Now with nips like golf balls Moon-Walking in my new polka dot M and S dressing gown. The sweats proper pissing off the wife's furrow, but that's not important right now as she's always hot.

I would sooner give up biscuits, cheese cake and our Magnum supply than ever go cold.

Speaking of Octopus the half hourly rates on Agile are creeping up on the peak times at 16:00 to 19:00 @ around 35p average the kwh. Other timings are fine and we did all our dhobying and drying today at circa 15p the kwh: That is all.
