Has anyone put their central heating on yet?

I'm surprised UK homes don't have those split system reverse cycle AC units. Cheapest form of heating by far and instantaneous hot air.

Also you have cooling in case of hot summer days.

If it was just me, I’d never have the heating on.

Mines never worked properly, don’t sign the bastard off it doesn’t connect when they install, they’ve never fixed mine only the gas works. I think they are useful at the start certainly with the gas you can see what things cost although I don’t think cutting down as much is an option with gas apart from heating. Electric is a different matter mines never worked but I know I use on average 10kwh per day, I think you can get obsessed by it tbh.

Yeh , have it on Kitchen counter

quite like seeing what I've spent and if it roughly tally's up to what I've used

rarely gone over my Electric budget for the day and Gas nowhere near
