Has anyone put their central heating on yet?

Played golf at Formby Hall on Thursday, never been so cold in June in my life, absolutely freezing and a cold blast coming off the Irish Sea.

The course would normally be rammed this time of year with £60 a pop amateur's playing a top course but I reckon there were about 4 groups on course when we played, we were on a freebie so not too bad, can't ever remember weather this bad in summer.

Starts going dark earlier from next Saturday, depressing.

Patio doors wide open under a moonlit night with Haven's heating system begging for utter redemption and forgiveness, as we mercilessly rack up it's mercury levels to 30c and beyond. Non shall pass!

Turn it On Again .. And Again And Again!
I see you have a bloody great coat and a duvet on hand to keep you warm though.

You don't fool me.

The duvet in question is a low tog comfort blanket, facilitated to hide ageing groins and netherparts from the prying eyes of the Eccles family opposite, and the bloody great coat's merely a Lighthouse Beachcomber.

Combining soft jersey linings with polyester microfibre finished outers, it carries little of the essential attribute for winter attire.

I'm reluctant to rise, but point out that m'learned friends assertions transgress issues that are non admissible. Unless I can assist further, defence rests.

Last few weeks CH been on between 1 and 2 hours a day, in fact had it on in the last hour. Summer, what fucking summer!

Come up here and give it a try, biting winds going right through you to the bone. The weather is absolutely foul.
We have biting winds down here too , my main shopping street is a tunnel for the winds off the sea. I just cant get my head around you needing heating in june despite what is happening outside and i live in a cold house
