Can you not pop to Argos and pick up a fan heater to get you through the cold patch ? At least keep the warmth in one room?As i dont have a working boiler i am freezing cold today , i have a t shirt , warm jammies , gloves and a throw round my neck and shoulder, sometimes covering my head as well

It's only slightly more expensive than having it going on and off to do this. We've got our set to 21c without it going off. It's costing about 60p per day more but a lot more comfortable especially first thin in the morning.Wife has it on seemingly 24/7 and yes, she doesn’t pay for the gas and electricity.
Sorry to hear you're not so good. Hope you are feeling better, and warmer soon.Good idea, i am going to get more ill at this rate, trying to recover from sepsis as it is
