Has it disappointed you that were not expanding the stadium,

Hopefully the club listens, and they introduce a Ticket exchange System so those unsold SC's are snapped up.
The SC aren't unsold mate. Just SC holders that can't make it to every game. If that's what you meant then fair enough.

There are a number of blues on here that have said they can only get to 5 or 6 games per season as they live away etc. You are right though, a ticket exchange system is needed.

Yea this is what I meant... SC is a sold seat, but unsold as in they haven't managed to resell their seat... the exchange system would help people fill their empty seat

For every extra seat we add I'm adding a second on to my leaving time.

you do realise that if we add 10000 seats you will be staying for an extra 2 hours 42 mins

Take it you mean leaving, which is fine with me I won't miss any of the game that way as I'll be home in time to watch the game in full on the tv.

I'm disappointed, and I'll tell you why. Other big clubs have or are planning grounds around the 60k mark, or bigger. Take Arsenal for example - they pretty much sell out a ground that size and they charge a lot more than us so get a lot more revenue per match.

Now, this ain't London and never will be, and the average Joe in Greater Manchester is on what folks in London would think of as piss poor money. We are never going to be able to charge Arsenal prices, although we might be able to go up a bit more and develop the corporate side a lot more, all of which would help.

Therefore the preferred strategy for us is 'pile 'em high and sell 'em cheap.' Building the stadium to whatever size doesnt impact on FFPR, but revenue from ticket sales does. Ideally we should have a pile of cheap seats (at the back, top tier, whatever) selling for £10-£15 a piece. And enough so you can go down with your Blue card on matchday and be sure of getting one. This is how to maximise revenue.

At least in the short term and for lesser matches this would lead to empty seat syndrome. My answer to this is 'so fucking what!'. No one used to worry about empty spaces on the terraces at Maine Road. We do not exist to stop Rag fans having a poke. We exist to grow City into a bigger club than it is now, and exclude no one who wants to support us.

Blimey 10 more people and you will have to leave before kick off

If add 3,600 seats I'll be home in time to watch the game on the tv.

20,000 to 30,000 empty seats two years running in the Carling Cup. Nearly 10,000 empty seats against Ajax. 16,000 empty seats against Bilbao.
Yep and the fact they didn't sell out 8 games in the league this year.

My point, which you are clearly both ignoring, is that we only need to fill 44500 ish seats give or take the away support and we cant even do that. The Rags have about 75000 to fill.

If we had to fill 60000 for example cup games would be appallingly empty. FFS we couldnt even fill the stadium, with discounted offers for a cup quarter final with a semi against the Rags at Wembly for the first time in 30 years as a carrot!

I dont believe that the home games have all sold out - far too many empty seats - groups of them sometimes - to blame it on seasoncard holders not turning up.

Have you seen how packed the the ground is around the singing section Its absolutely hammered down there . That's probably why half your empty seats are empty every fucker is in there standing. I'm telling you I've only been in the SS twice but both times there were shit loads more people per row than there should of been.
