You can see some empty spots still during important games , focus on that first.

These are sold seats and people not turning up, so the only focus on that should be a ticket exchange system.

Not only that, i wouldn't mind if City were able to "resell" these empty seats for extra dough, that is if the original ticket-holder confirmed before-hand that they or someone else would not make it to the match. (similar to the international airlines policy, wherein you have to confirm your seat 48 hrs prior, even if you have already bought the ticket)..

Think that's pushing it but we could get 60,000 for United/Arsenal/Chelsea/Spurs/maybe Liverpool, especially as away allocation would probably be expanded a bit too.

Yes they are wrong. They couldn't be more wrong.

Are you really such a plank as to think the club would forgo extra revenue simply to have the fun of putting "sold out" signs up weeks in advance of a game?

What would be the point? Seriously?

They would also have to make up the attendance figures (which are always the sold numbers) and would end up having to pay tax on non-existent income.

Before expansion we need to address the issue of Congestion and Empty Seats.

Hopefully the new Tram system will decrease traffic volumes
Hopefully the club listens, and they introduce a Ticket exchange System so those unsold SC's are snapped up.

Once inplace - then I feel we are ready for stadium expansion.

I'm confident in that we could fill a 60k stadium for league games, if seats are there people will come... Supply & Demand.

Will probably be up for consideration this summer, every league game with the possible exception of West Brom (there weren't many left, unknown if they sold the last on the day) has sold out so there's demand for league games. Cups are a different story but most clubs have empty seats for cup games, even Champions League games (United and Chelsea had non-sell outs this season).

The SC aren't unsold mate. Just SC holders that can't make it to every game. If that's what you meant then fair enough.

There are a number of blues on here that have said they can only get to 5 or 6 games per season as they live away etc. You are right though, a ticket exchange system is needed.
