Has Manchester lost too many of it's old pubs in town

I'm not sure that's true.

Neither am I. There's a real market for it. The Vine, for example, remains very popular. There is, however, a reason why the Seven Oaks is usually empty.
Any pub with a pinball machine is generally best avoided...
 
Chapel Street has been all but wiped out pub wise....
The crescent is still there. Old pint pot opposite and on Bexley Square the New Oxford is buzzing. I wish I hadnt seen your post because it winds me up to the point my blood boils what's happened to all the old pubs. I guess it's progress and changing times and I need to get a grip lol
 
I came home for the first time in 15 years was saddended to see the pubs closed i used to frequent ... its been going on for a while a while i think
