Has Mancini lost the dressing room?

They can when their favourites are playing, our quality is much higher than the opposition and they are in turmoil with a bad run of form.

I disagree, a team that has no motivation, who want the manager gone, don't score 5 goals in a game, no matter the opposition.
The team do not lack motivation; of course they want Champions League football and to prove themselves. However I feel there is not a collective spirit instilled in them by the manager. Silva and De Jong are clearly amongst Mancini's favourites as evidenced by Mancini resting them for the semi-final. I would not critisise Mancini for this as I'd have thought that the team he put out could still do the job against Liverpool too, but when they don't play the team just don't gel together. I wouldn't put this down to a huge gulf in class between Silva/De Jong and the other players we have in their respective positions. I put it down to the lack of team mentality in the other players. Mancini should be able to make the squad we have click, and I think the players are frustrated with him because he doesn't. I feel he is too distant with the players.

Hes never been a good manager. Couple of titles in a fixed league. My fuckin nan could guide that Inter team to the title.

Ridiculous comment. When he won the league in his second season he was up against an AC Milan side who went on to win the champions league that season, won it with a record number of points and won 17 successive games. Also what about the job he did at Lazio?

I know i'll have people saying it doesn't matter what he did in Italy as he's now in the premiership but for you to say he's never been a good manager is ridiculous

No, he hasn't. It's cringworthingly stupid to suggest so, managers who have lost the dressing room do not win matches 5-0...

I remember Frank Clark's team beating Swindon Town 6-0.

I think we got relegated that season.

for the sake of the fans travelling down there and the ones that have never see city play at wembley....i hope to god he plays forward thinking tactics
I wouldn't bet on it. He hasn't played one game this season against the so-called ''Sky 4'' (plus Spurs) when he has gone out to really have a go at the opposition from the start. The game at the swamp showed encouraging signs but I'm not sure you could call it an all-out attacking display.

What do you mean by forward thinking tactics? I hope we and play with just one up top rather than 4-4-2 otherwise i think we'll struggle

i mean approaching the game with a postive attack minded philosophy....faster tempo to our play and with a lot less backwards passing

I don't think he has the confidence of the players, nor is he popular with them. Out of the Liverpool team, I would probably only want Suarez and Carroll. The likes of Spearing, Lucas, and Kuyt are not world beaters, but they gave everything last night, and tore through our midfield, complete stark contrast to City. This was something instilled by the manager, the Liverpool players looked like they would run through brick walls for Dalglish. I don't think the same can be said for any of the City players regarding Mancini. The reactions of Milner last night, and Tevez when we played Bolton, after being subbed, the comments Bellamy, Onuoha, and some of the players who left in the summer, have made about Mancini, are worrying signs.

I remember an Inter fan warned us about this. He lost the dressing room at Inter according to him.
