Has Mancini lost the dressing room?

I was a Mancini fan until last night. I couldn't believe it when I read the team sheet. I recognise squad rotation is important but why we literally NEVER play the same/best team escapes me. I hate to admit it but there's something wrong. Mancini is very driven and he wrongly assumes that everyone is the same and the team will just 'get it' without him saying what expects of them. I think he man manages seperately rather than as a team. That's not good news for a team game.

Luckily a lot of our best players (Kompany, DeJong, Silva) seem very level headed and a lot of the problems don't phase them but the players that require coaching aren't doing so well.

I will say this though, I very rarely panic when teams come at us anymore. In 20 years of watching City, I was panic stations all match when teams attacked us. I do think defensively, Mancini has organised us brilliantly.

I really want Mancini to do the business here I'm fed up like all blues of this revolving door when things don't go right. However last night something just didn't seem right. The team turning up late( probably a reasonable answer) milners substition, all the subs in general and the interview after the game. Hope Im wrong though and can't wait for Saturday.

If the Chairman's having to give team talks, then thats not a good sign, and begs the question: "Shouldn't the manager be doing that?"

Absolutely right. What Johnson is saying, wittingly or unwittingly, is that the team are not normally as motivated as they were for that game. You can only blame one man for that, the man who is paid to motivate them.

If the last two games haven't sent a powerful signal to the Sheikh, then nothing will.

Sheikh motivated them for 1 win, have we won 1 game all season? Nope we've won 16 games but I guess Brian Kidd or David Platt motivated them for them games eh? PMSL

I very much doubt that Kidd has had much influence due to the insistence of our manager having his little half time threesomes with Platt and Lombardo in Italian!

I bet Kidd feels great about that?

I'll be looking forward to it I can see the article now "£100,000 a week Centre Midfielder James Milner has hit out at Mancini complaining about playing on the wing for his club even though he doesn't complain at England"

"Mancini Sacked" will be the first headline!

well regardless of player unrest manager having lost the dressing room, imo most city fans are sick to their back teeth with possibly the thought of us going back on the manager merry go-round,im in the dont know camp concerning mancini, although at certain times of the season and last night he has you tearing your hair out, but are city going to become a poisioned chalice and basically unmanageable.....
