Has Nasri been our biggest loss?

Yes, yaya and silva are missing him greatly imo... They did some tremendous attacking together with his little runs, touches, flicks, passes etc

Nasri is one of those players who seriously divides opinions. It seems there is no middle ground you either like him or don't like him.
Personally I'm in the like camp...... He has been greatly missed IMO.
A cultured footballer with the brain that goes with the skill.
Hopefully the Pep style of play will suit him and I hope he manages to return for April/May games.

In answer to the original question, no of course Nasri hasn't been our biggest loss. Given our defensive woes it's pretty clear to see that a fully fit Kompany would have been invaluable to City this season. Nasri has been missed, he'd have allowed us to rotate/rest Silva, and he'd have been able to play when others were injured, but to suggest he's been our biggest loss is a bit ridiculous.

Nasri was often kind of "quiet" in his performances but he always seemed to be out there when things were going well. I've had a feeling for a while now that his subtle performances are what City are missing.

I think he will be given an audition for Guardiola when he comes back from injury, but he needs to perform or he is straight out.

I am in the middle when it comes to Nasri. Yes he is a great player in the right circumstance but he is far from a complete player. Bobby Manc wanted to punch him in the face and there was a reason for that, defensively he can be very suspect. What we have missed all year is a dominant midfield and defence and Nasri is not part of any solution to that.

I'm a big Nasri fan, always have been, but I don't feel he's had a run of games in his best position which I believe to be more central. I have a hunch Guardiola will play him as a deeper lying playmaker and it's a role I believe he'll excel in.
