They are the real Hash browns for me, are these the ones in your strange kebab shop?

Never bought them from a kebab shop so fuck knows what they are like, just noticed them on some menus and always wondered why

I like the fried and shredded potato in the US

What’s not to like? Throw ham scraps, corned beef, any other odds and ends in, couple of runny fried eggs on top, good to go.
Those things they sell at McD’s are not real hash browns

Pretty much the only time I ever eat hash browns is on a hotel breakfast. Always seems a good idea at the time, but invariably regret it. Too much grease in the morning is never wise.

Why do kebab shops sell them?


Though they are very popular on a fry up nowaday I prefer the old sauteed potatoes on a breakfast buffet to theses.

Shredded ones, especially with onions are lovely.

Hash brown casserole is delicious.
