You don't get them anymore.

Who are your classic hatchet men?

Don't get them anymore??

Vidic was a classic hatchet man, probably why him and the 'cultured' defender Ferdinand made such a good combination. IMO

Vidic, Skrtel and Huth all soft as shite and all three are snide and just like to give players who are known for being soft a small tap when no-one is looking.

A proper hatchet man would go through someone within the first minute and everyone knew what was coming. Someone like Goikoetxea from Bilbao was the classic hatchet man cos everyone knew what was coming. Vidic is just a snide twat who every so often follows through with his head when going up for the ball - as long as it is on a soft player. When was the last time you remember him going looking for someone for a bit of afters or getting physical with someone like Big Duncan? The bloke's reputation as a bit of a hard case is a joke. Whenever it kicks off he is nowhere to be seen. Similar make up for Skrtel and Huth.

Dunne would have been one if he was born some years earlier. Kompany has the physique to bully almost any striker but again, the changing culture and rulings wouldn't let it happen.
