have ADUG bought a dud?

ADUG didn't want a ready made product ...... they were lookin' for a 'sleeping giant' with the potential to grow ....... they were also looking at the fan base , the local area potential , and anything else under the City umberella .

So they've probably got exactly what they were looking for , they've got their very own Premiership club , albeit still a very unpredictable one ........ they obviously aren't all that bothered about the clubs finances , even if we won ten Champions League titles on the bounce the wealth generated by those successes would hardly get them excited .

They seek to change Citys fortunes , and maybe the local areas too ........ they want an adventure , and they'll sure as hell get one with us!

dig out your soul... i dont think it deserves a ban warpig!!

ADUG have not bought a dud. They have bought an established Premier league club with potential.

not bought a dud... these fellas are sharper than most they aint just popped their heads out of the tent and said fuck it ahmed lets go and spunk a few hundred million over in blighty.... this is just the start. 90 years from now oil will be as scarce as a united fan in droylsden, so the next generation of johnny cum latelys the world over who will want to blow their dirhams, rands, dollars rupees, euros, fen groats etc etc on a shiny new kit of a winning club will be welcomed with open arms ! not how you would ideally like to conquer the football world, but hey-ho, thats the world we are in, so lets just sit back, enjoy and above all be grateful that in years to come the finest footballers in the world are coming our way and not just once a year to take the piss and 3 easy points....

I doubt it. But some of the fans certainly have!

I agree, but let's not underestimate another thing that makes us an attractive proposition, sharing the city (well county) with Unitied. The more successful we become the bigger the rivalry will be with them, you know if it's City-United in a big final, or fighting neck and neck for the title (in a few years, not next week) that the Media coverage, world wide audiences will be huge.

Think of the fuss Sky made out of United Arsenal clashes, they love the fact it's now United and Liverpool and two local teams fighting it out in the same way will let their PR machine go int to overdrive.
