According to Harry Rednapp Europa football is tougher than CL

"Our first year in the Champions League has been hard. It has taken its toll but the Europa League takes a bigger toll.

"Playing on Thursday and Sunday is not ideal but if that's what we end up with that's what we end up with."

I never considered this and am beginning to feel confident about 4th (touch wood)

Not only that, but we've played more games than Spurs too. We're really not doing that badly considering!

Harrys right ....

there are too many games in the Europa League , full stop .... and if you're lucky enough to be progressin' in your domestic competitions too it wears you down!

Another reason why I'd rather both Spurs and Liverpool could end up in Europa. They'll never win it, but the extra games can certainly take the edge of their league performances. Anyone think we'd be in the final + 4 points clear in 4th if we'd stayed in the Europa? I don't.

Champions League games look more intense, but how do you recover to play at the weekend if you play on the Thursday?

City will be better placed to cope next season as the manager will be in a stronger position and therefore able to use all his squad. This season Mancini has never been more than 2-3 games from the sack

Too small a squad, with too many players out on loan. Team selection for most games beyond my understanding. Including West Brom and Liverpool.....
