Have we missed Robinho?

Talented and at times mesmerising though he was, reluctantly I have to say he was too lightweight and couldn't be arsed too much of the time, so no.

Same feelings about Elano, but less so. He did put a shift in occassionally and we do miss his creativity in midfield in my view. If we had Ireland or Johnson filling that role it wouldn't be so bad, but neither of them have been able to do so for different reasons. With all our current midfielders (with the possible exception of grandad Viera) we don't have anyone who can pick a decent forward pass.

Tin hat on here, but I think that Robbie could do an excellent job for us as an attacking midfielder.
Some of his assists last season were fantastic - as good as if not better than his goals.
He could also be expected to chip in with say 15 goals of his own, similar to Lampard, excluding the penalties.
Barry and NDJ to provide defensive cover that you are not going to get from Robby.

Something needs to be done to get his confidence up, and whilst i fully agree with everyone's comments about him being a lazy s*d and allegations of disrespectful comments i can't help thinking we haven't yet seen the best of him and maybe playing in the CL will spur him on to do better.

For this season, nah, it's too critical at this stage and we need all hands to the pumps.

Any player that has the skill and ability to score that goal against Arsenal last season, playing in the right frame of mind would be a massive asset to any team in the world.

I would have him back next season no problem.

An in-form Robinho who actually cared about the club maybe, but the real Robinho, no, horrible little twunt

It's a shame we can't......But I think we may have missed out on a masterstroke here.

Imagine the Villa and Spuds camps if we announced we were bringing him back for the last three games!.....loads of rethinks on how they would have to set up to mark him....The media would go wild ( take all the heat off Fullop).

Then Just sit him on the bench....lets face it he usually made a difference when he played at COMS.....oh and put Ireland on with him he might just get rejuvinated too : )

if you mean '' have we missed Robinhio'' with a sniper rifle then yes but we should try harder

Might affect his resale value. Please have a rethink on this issue.

we've missed the best of him but certainly not missed the worst of him. The question is I suppose is the trade off worth it? I suggest not tbh hence why he is not here challenging for fourth spot in one of the best leagues in the world preferring to play in a crap league but at least it's sunny there.
