Have we missed Robinho?

Some people!! You're so ready to slag off Brasilian players without understanding the mitigating circumstances involved! Have you not remembered reading Torres' comments on how the Prem is the most brutal league in the world on the body? We may be used to blood and thunder, but not all players are.

Talented and at times mesmerising though he was, reluctantly I have to say he was too lightweight and couldn't be arsed too much of the time, so no.

Same feelings about Elano, but less so. He did put a shift in occassionally and we do miss his creativity in midfield in my view. If we had Ireland or Johnson filling that role it wouldn't be so bad, but neither of them have been able to do so for different reasons. With all our current midfielders (with the possible exception of grandad Viera) we don't have anyone who can pick a decent forward pass.

Tin hat on here, but I think that Robbie could do an excellent job for us as an attacking midfielder.
Some of his assists last season were fantastic - as good as if not better than his goals.
He could also be expected to chip in with say 15 goals of his own, similar to Lampard, excluding the penalties.
Barry and NDJ to provide defensive cover that you are not going to get from Robby.

Don't need your 'tin hat' on at all. I think he's pretty much an attacking midfielder, myself. No pace to speak of for the wings. Only to affect the forward and attack mid positions. I, myself, have posted the exact same sentiments about the man and all I've ever had, in return is "So why does he play for Brasil and for Real Madrid??". I guess people have never known the reason why he ever played there!

Sweet Lord, give me strength!

I don't think we've missed him since he's gone simply because of his attitude. If he was up for it there aren't many better players in the country to be fair but I don't really buy into all this bollocks about the weather and so on. He was going to sign for Chelsea before us so he knew what the weather in England was like. As for next season i'd have him back unless his agent can get him a move away and we get a decent fee for him (20 mil+), if he can't then he fights for his place. If he doesn't fight hard enough he sits on the bench or in the reserves until his contract runs out. Then see how he gets into the Brazil squad! I really don't want to hear that he's gone on loan to another pub team whilst our club gives him 8 million quid a year.

Time to shit or get off the pot Robbie!

He doesn't have the right attitude for the fight, and that's what we are in right now. Bellers gives his all to the cause and really works hard on his defensive duty, we can't afford to carry a show off.

Honestly one of the worst players we had this season. I dont care how physical the league is that doesn't really excuse him walking around the pitch like he can't be arsed. He didn't even try to keep up appearences, i hope we sell him to coventry.
