Gelson Fernandes lobbed a ball into my hands in the warm up before the Hamburg 2nd leg, my favourite City game in recent years. The steward said if I didnt give it back id be thrown out.

Remember the FA cup game at Sheff Utd (BaloonGate) during the warm up some lad caught the ball (about 15 years old) a guy shouted over "stick it under your top i'll give you a tenner for it" the lad darted to the concourse just as the stewards were about to grab him

Sat in Platt Lane one day when Wimbledon were warming up, Vinny Jones hit a rasper just over the bar, I insinctively put my hands up, realised how hard the ball was coming so lowered my hands, it caught my fingers and bent them backwards nearly breaking them!

At a game in '91 stood in the Kippax right at the front so I could see through the fence Quinny won a challenge near the byline and it sailed into the air, over the fence, and was dropping right to me when from about 3 barriers back my fucking big brother came sprinting towards me knocking me out of the way - catching it - and throwing it back to Quinny (my fav player at the time till he became a twunt of a commentator). Balls never been slightly near me ever since and just thinking of this story builds up an anger in me towards my bro (now 46) as he ruined my glory moment. Twat.

quite a few season ago when joey barton played for us we were at sheff utd away one very cold Christmas. During the warm up shout out to him as he was about to leave the pitch. kicked an inch perfect ball to me. He might not be everyones cup of tea now but at the time things were different. Still have the ball bit let down just like .
