Twice. But that's life. You get over it and get on with with it. Took me a few years for each but now I'm getting married and starting a life with a wonderful woman so I am happy.

I felt the same way about my ex as you did about yours. I’ll never love anyone like that again; however, I took the opposite approach to you once it was over. That said, we didn’t have kids together, which made it easier for me to sever the tie.Think of her a lot mate. Fuck me I was broken. I fell in love with her the second I saw her. It was like something out of a film. Never had it ever again in my life. It wasn’t lust - although she is beautiful - it was like some sort of strange connection. Loved her deeply for twelve years and two kids with her. Still look after her to this day. Glad she is in my life.

My kids were just 1 and 4 which made it even harder. I found it hard to forgive her at first for not trying to make it work with such young kids. When I got married last year she told me she cried all day.
Oh well life goes on. I do love Mrs ww by the way! Just have a love hate relationship.

I still love my ex-wife. Always will. I reckon 5 of the 6 girlfriends I've had since (about one a year) have known it, although only one has ever asked the question.
