They didn't show any of the masterclass between our 3rd goal and Bolton's equaliser. Suppose they've only got a certain amount of time but I was surprised because in that time we played some quality stuff.

The journalists on the Sunday Supplement were largely complimentary as well. Maybe the worm has finally turned. Nobody likes to be made to look stupid and that's how they'd look if they carried on peddling the same tired old myths they were peddling last season.

MOTD2 does what Goals on Sunday does well... it brings in different views of various pundits and experts of the game instead of peddling out the same old shit for years on end like MOTD does. I have literally had e-fucking-nough of Hansen saying "time and time again".

He was on MOTD Saturday one week last year with Hansen and said (I can't actually remember the exact team or the exact stat but it was along the lines of....) "Fulham have had at least 60% possession in each if their last 3 games but only had 5 shots on target" and Hansen said "what, where did you come up with that, that's an amazing statistic?" and Dixon said "it's called research Alan!"!!

Thing is, when I posted this, it wasn't about Lee Dixon but more generally how the media are changing the tone of the way they talk about us. However the direction this thread has gone has got me thinking.

This Lee Dixon is a blue thing. Well as it happens I saw Lee Dixon play at The Victoria Ground in 1988 and my mate who was next to me said the right back for Stoke is a blue.

So I've been aware of that fact for a while now. But what evidence do we actually have of that?

What has his involvement with the club been apart from watching the odd game when we're in London? Did he ever offer to get involved with the club when he retired? Did he talk like a fan when criticising us last season?

Maybe your definition of a fan is different to mine, but that falls well short of my expectations.
