Haven't felt this low since...

Well the good news is PSG look just as shit as us.

...

The bad news is I said the same thing about that other lot before today.

I'm not bothered about today's game in isolation. It's good for #SOL. However overall I feel low about City. Taking the piss over pricing, leaving the CL scheme with a heavy heart, having gone backwards at an alarming rate under Pelligrini. No plan B. Playing a past it defender. Him being so detached from the fans and not understanding what a derby means to us. Not giving youth a chance. The best thing about today was Blossoms. I expected it to be as well.

Try relegation.

Guardiola is coming. Surely he'll sort this out.

This team has been falling short in these games for 6 months now, and still we just do the same things in the vain hope that somehow there will be a different outcome

Pellegrini has turned out to be a terrible manager. Mancini's players won us a double but as they grew old, Pellegrini proved unable to renew and freshen up the team.

I am already thinking about our last home game, and saying goodbye to Pellegrini. I think I'll just walk out on 90 minutes. The sooner this season ends the better.

Watch you don't trip over me on the way out as I will be in front of you! He won't be getting a fucking goodbye from me.

I've felt this way many times in 50+ years of watching city. There was a time in the 1970's where we totally failed to kick on from the successes of the Bell,Lee, Summerbee era. We wasted money hand over fist on players who would have been described on here as 'young 'or 'a prospect' but we knew were totally gash. Useless Managers came and went ,we slipped further and further down but this time it feels particularly depressing. We had it all,the keys to the kingdom of premiership dominance and have pissed it away through poor choices. We now await Pep the messiah but until those upstairs stop cocking up 'same old city' still haunts me.
That's what I find particularly annoying. we had the best group of players we have ever had who could have been the start of an era but we have blown it. We allowed the players to grow lazy and then we allowed them to grow old instead of replacing them at their peak.

Yep, it's pretty grim at the moment..... A team of strangers; Kun - shite at present, couldn't hit a cows arse with a bat - needs to stop being greedy. Silva - no words for him at the moment..... the rest, no different. I have no expectations for the rest of the season but then that would be arrogant if I did wouldn't it? I don't want us becoming what we despise, self righteous - expecting to win everything and lamenting if we don't...... To be honest I preferred us when we had none of the expectation, when we were shite you might say...... I remember the days when winning really was something, now we are a corporate beast which is far removed from the loyal and now skint fan base!!!

I will never forget what this current team has done for us long suffering blues but it is clear that those days are gone.......

As for the injuries...... words escape me again........ as they do for MDM..........

Roll on August and the departure of that soul-less, deflating, grey, passionless corpse who is stealing a living at the moment!!

The CL is not a game I am looking forward to.

Woouldn't be so bad if I knew we would be in next season, but I think it's West Ham's for the taking. PSG will destroy us. All they have to do is play at the same intensity as they played against Chelsea and we wont be able to live with them.

Wigan cup final defeat and knowing Mancini had got the boot took some beating

That's about the size of it.

The point is that we should be doing so much better. The feeling after the poor performance against Wigan after such an excellent 70 mins against Chelsea in the semi is something that I have felt almost week in week out.

when fowler missed that penalty that would have guaranteed europe ..

Against Boro last day, yes I am with you there. I was watching soccer saturday in the garden and went fucking wild when I heard we had a penalty and we were going to Europe followed by the despair that lasted weeks when I learnt he missed a minute later. That will take some beating but I was young, as an adult I do feel pretty shitty today much the same feeling after the Wigan cup final.

Semi final league cup 2010, Grannyshagger last minute winner in extra time.
Try watching David pleat running across the bastard pitch after sending us down....or try drawing at home to Wrexham and Chesterfield and bristol rovers in div 3....or that doesn't take your fancy how about a demonstration outside maine road after bury beat us 1-0 at home....and as a brucey bonus try to feel excited when coppell fucked off and Frank Clark breezed in like deputy dawg on about 10 E's.
Fuck me you've been lucky.

For the first time in my life, I may be a little tiny bit jealous of United. Only for the fact that they were underdogs, and turned us over with very young players, something we have the option to do, but don't. Regardless of what's to come next season, I'm thinking of the now, and we have been nye on relegation form for months. I'd rather be mediocre and have our soul as lively as ever, there's a cancer of overpaid fuckwits rife within the club at the very top, more concerned about dollar signs and the old boy network.

Similar feeling to the 1-0 Scholes loss in 2010 as this will cost us Champions League too, but feel more flat today than anything. Good atmosphere going finally, then MDM handed Rashford a big fuck off pin to pop our balloon. Then outsang by the rags for 80 mins, pretty embarrassing.

Kinda reminds me of when Pearce was in charge...clueless.
But in pearce's defence he didn't spend an absolute fortune and take us backwards, we were already shit when Pearce took over.

Wtf, lets look to the future, it is brighter, yes we were shite today, but ffs, compared to where we have come from... I remember Stuart Pearce, Frank Clark, now we have the best club manager in the world next season, rather be blue than red that's for sure

Brilliant !!
Thank fuck we know Peps on his way ! In those we had no idea what we would do next!

Decent post, we will be back better than ever, it's just frustrating at the moment as we are in a mess. Criminal for what we have at our disposal.

It's pretty simple really
mp despite what he says has lost the dressing room and the players are not playing for him any longer.
I'd go as far to say Demi intentionally played shit, its impossible to play and make as many fuck ups as he did on that pitch today.
