In a ballon pissing over the swamp!
for the last hour a hawk has been trying to get into my house, bouncing off the windows trying to get at our dog who is a small white and fluffy lhasa....vicious thing with claws....I think the hawk thinks the dog is a rabbit! Anyone have any suggestions?

PS I am a bit annoyed as bloody window cleaner been this morning as well, now covered in talon marks!!

Shoot it? Get a restraining order on it?
Seriously just tap on the window if that doesn't work close the curtains and it should lose interest in your dog

closed blinds...but it just goes to porch windows that dont have blinds....also it sits on sons kart in garden just looking at house...worse comes to worse i will kick dog out into garden and let nature take it course!

Its flown off to woods near house now.....no doubt regrouping for its next attack....the Mrs is home in a bit, birds or prey come under her household duties I have now decided!

Tie some fishing line to the dogs collar, let the dog out, hawk swoops in, grabs dog and BOOM!

Hawk pie. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Hawks don't normally become so obsessed. Obviously the dog has somehow insulted the honor of this majestic bird. You need to sit the dog down and get to the truth of the matter. A chair, an adjustable lamp and doddie nail clippers should get you started.

Where do you live? I'd love to see a hawk in my garden

near chorley.....spoke to neighbour and they think it has been feeding on wild rabbits that are plentiful here...set up feeding ground....I thought I had not seen any bunnies in the garden lately!!

PS we have bats as well close by and I must admit I like to sit out at night in garden and watch them feed on moths....then again the ferking hawk probably ate them as well!

Smart. Do you think it could have your dog? They do feed on rabbits so it must be mistaking your mutt for one.

from above he might look like a rabbit to a hawk...only a small dog, not even 2 yet! I think the dog is too big too carry off but might do some damage with talons...this thing had no fear even when I banged on window...
