hazard and his agent are playing a clever game. by saying hes made up his mind but yet to reveal still gives the other clubs a chance to up there offer.
for all we know he might not have told any club hes signing for them and all 3 clubs think hes signing for 1 of the other 2.

He's messing with the wrong animal if he thinks he's going to get a chew out of us.

We've got a big stack of chips waiting on the table, we wont be raising anymore on this hand, we'll just bide our time and wait for the next deal and flop

You can't bluff someone who's holding all the aces ;).

Seeing Abramovich is supporting FFP but is also going on another spending spree we should start testing the water a bit more.
There's a thread on the general football forum about Chelsea and the ffp rule. Seems its not going to be a big problem for them either in fact they reckon they can spend the heavy end of 70 million and still get through it. With drogba leaving they free up a huge chunk of wages and if they pay the 32 mil figure that only just over 6 mil a year over a 5 year deal so not that much either
I don't know, but winning the Champions League may have saved CFC as a top 4 club. I couldn't see them rebuilding from the Europa League now they have prestige and revenue. But they have to spend a lot of money to replace ageing players. Hazard and Hulk would just be the start, and that's £60m plus

Putting talk of ego and personality aside. A few have touched on the influence of Kompany our maybe even Lakuku. Personally I think Joe Cole may have persuaded him that Chelsea would suit him. Joe played as a winger of sorts there and you have to say he was excellent. For that reason I see him at Stamford Bridge next season.

I am starting to think and agree with previous posters that one or more clubs have read him his fortune about this announcement mallarky.

Looks at watch (3 hours of my life I can't get back - but enjoyable nonetheless)

In reality, ad hominem is unrelated to sarcasm or personal abuse. Argumentum ad hominem is the logical fallacy of attempting to undermine a speaker's argument by attacking the speaker instead of addressing the argument.
Yes, such as not answering and simply labelling me a prat to undermine my point.

We can all copy and paste though, so well done for that. Maybe you should read what you copy in future.

You misunderstand the meaning mate. His insult was separate to the point. His simply called you a prat as he was pissed off with you. That is not Ad Hominem, and as you like to use it so much then I thought you would like to know its true meaning.

He did not use the word prat to undermine your argument. Hence no Ad Hominem.

EG.

"How can you be against immigration when your grandparents came from Pakistan". Is Ad Hominem

"Who are you to tell me to stop using heroin after what you did in the sixties". Is Ad Hominem.

Hope that helps

Just noticed your last sentence lol.

That is a perfect example of Ad Hominem.

Sorry mate, your copy paste was incorrect. Ad Hominem does not need to be used in reference to the point. If you belittle the character of the person then it is classed as Ad Hominem but a more implicit type.
