Hazard Joining Chelsea

Lets just show this guy he made a huge mistake in choosing Chelsea over us next season...

Well we won one and lost one so don't think anything will change there, however for the rags it might be different they got a point at SB they shouldn't have and if Chelsea had taken their chances at the swamp it may have been a different result. Can't see them retaining CL (no team has for ages). Three horse race will be more exciting IMO. Plus if Chelsea were to win the league and played the better football they would deserve it, just don't want the scum to win it. Looking forward to next season already and we haven't got Wimbledon out of the way.

'Champions of Europe' lol, they aren't even the best team in London! I hope he has as big an impact as Torres. I honestly am happy, he's gone to Chelsea, imagine the shit storm this egotistical bell end, would've caused if he wasn't getting in the team?

Totally agree danamy, great post.

sure they were outshot 57-16, 30 corners to 2, 2 missed penalties against, but technically they're still Champions of Europe.

I always feared Chelsea winning the Champions League would see this sort of transfer activity.

I'm not sure what benefits Chelsea winning the Champions League would bring to City, but there will now be plenty of competition with them now.

Had they lost to Bayern they were fucked this season. Now they're a real threat again. Shame.

Can i just say a big well done to City yet again by not getting involved in a bidding war and standing there ground on another big target.

I like the way we're rolling at the moment and sticking to our principles
have you info from inside that this was the case, did the agent contact city trying to up the money/?

It sounds totally reasonable and plausible. Mancini/ City to agent "yes we are only offering a maximum of x per week wages and we do not guarantee anyone a starting position". I could also imagine Abramovich taking the opposite approach.

I can't help thinking we have had a lucky escape with this one if we were ever interested seriously...the way he has gone about announcing who he is signing for shows he has a massive ego something I feel we do not need especially as the lad has not really done anything for me that has set the world on fire...he could end up the real deal and Chelsea have got themselves a real world class operator but something is niggling me with this guy and I am starting to wonder if he may turn out to be a legend in his own back yard...time will tell...now let's have RVP and Bale they will do for me

i thought he was a dead cert for the rags a la sneijder...

oh well, finishing 6th must be very appealing to the young kid,i get the feeling he turned us down as we have quality players in the squad,he`ll look like pele playing in that chelsea team....
