Mata............Torres................Hazard

dosn't look to bad a front line. Still think they need some work though, in terms of strength in depth.
Marin, Malouda and Sturridge are going to be happy with that. What about Hulk and that Lucas lad?

De Bruyne goes to Chelsea this summer too, they've done a good job on replacing the old forwards, and I suspect Luizand Cahill will do well at centre half next year. They still need wing backs and a central midfielder to replace Lampard though I think. Gonna be an expensive summer for them!

De Bruyne is a central midfielder if I'm not mistaken.

Can i just say a big well done to City yet again by not getting involved in a bidding war and standing there ground on another big target.

I like the way we're rolling at the moment and sticking to our principles
have you info from inside that this was the case, did the agent contact city trying to up the money/?

It sounds totally reasonable and plausible. Mancini/ City to agent "yes we are only offering a maximum of x per week wages and we do not guarantee anyone a starting position". I could also imagine Abramovich taking the opposite approach.

This in a nutshell

Still without a guarantee on who's the manager next season at Chelsea as they persist in chasing Guardiola, this is 100% Abramovich signing.

He would of guaranteed him "if fit you play" terms ala Shevchenko and early days of Torres, no matter how bad they were playing.

He simply wouldn't of got any of them guarantees at City...............

What a crazy way to announce which club you're moving to and he's not even mentioned Chelsea by name. Nothing on the CFC or LOSC websites! At the time of writing this even the BBC and Sky haven't picked up on it ... but the Daily Fail has ... surprise, surprise!!

that's because no club has actually placed a bid with Lille for Hazard. Unless there actually is a release clause in his contract of 33mil, as the papers continuously state, it would be piss funny if Lille were to somehow reject Chelsea and choose another club as the highest bidder..

he's still joining us he just missed out a comma 'i'm joining the champions league winners' 'i'm joining the champions, league winners'

;)

Don't be stupid. Torres was showing signs of coming back to some kind of form at the end of the season. A good pre season and a few early goals and with the players he will have feeding him he could be lethal again. Chelsea are a very big threat next season.

Me, stupid?

Please.

What did he do against Barcelona? Nothing until the ball fell kindly to him and he rounded the Keeper.

What did he do against Bayern? Please remind me as I can't think of anything. Erm...

If you seriously think Torres is going to be a threat next season, then you need some TLC.

I'm more worried about United. If Vidic comes back fit and they sign a couple fo decent players, they will be our main challangers, not Chelsea.

Don't believe the hype.

Boas fucked then up big time - can have as many top playersas you want but i think we would all agree that the manager is the most important person in the team - had Chelski had an half decent manager at the start of the season instead of Boas then they would be much much higher

They will be competative next season and you should expect a few more quality additions

Going to be intersting with the FFP stuff thats going on
no chance of chelsea worrying about ffp roman will just bung platini and his cronies with hush money...
