Why do so many on here feel the need to comment on a thread about the risen Christ, and also feel they have to take the piss out of those that do believe?

I don't personally believe, but am amazed at the amount of atheists that appear to feel by attempting to belittle those that do like this, it somehow makes tham big and clever...?

It ain't...it just makes you look an ignorant disrespectful twunt.

I'll tell you why. Because if you actually read the thread you'll find that at first, it was all very respectful. Even NF wished people a happy Easter.

But, when somebody comes on here and preaches to you that you deserve to burn in the fires of hell for all eternity because you don't follow their view of the world I think I'm entitled to take offence to that, don't you? I find it absolutely despicable. So yes, people can have their own faiths and beliefs, of course, nobody said otherwise. But when you insult somebody gravely in that way, I think you can expect a reaction, that doesn't make somebody an ignorant disrespectful twunt.

That seems perfectly straightforward and reasonable and if you think it's bollocks then it shouldn't bother you either way.
Oddly enough some of the avowed non-believers on here have no problem espousing their views/beliefs on a range of topics, but seem to come over all emotional just because someone suggests they might be looking at an eternity in hell. How do you define good and honest?, is it loving your family and friends, not stealing or telling lies, or not committting murder.

That is a good approach but God also tells us to love our enemies and love everybody like we love ourselves. He also tells also to-
- abstain from anything that glorifies sin and vandalizes the flesh such as sexual immorlity ( which includes checking a girl out when she walks by, watching porn and fornication),drunkiness and smoking.

-abstain from idolatory. Now this is very important because the definition of idolatory is anything that you put or prioritize ahead of God. It could be a musician or pop stars- the devil has compelled a lot of young kids nowadays to idolize pop stars like beyonce and Jayz. It could also be things like a football club. You notice how we all sing bluemoon at the start of every match almost as if we are worhipping the club. That is idolatory.

So you see how easy it is to fall into the trap of sin.

This is the deception that is taking place at the end times, the devil is using the media and other tools to decieve others and make them turn away from God because he knows the end is near and he is desperate to make sure that many people end up in hell with him.

This is why you have to WAKE UP NOW and open your heart to God so he can reveal the truth and the real defination of being good and honest and so that you will not be eternally damned when you die.

Dont get me wrong I am not a saint and I commit sin as well. Last night I watched the seasons premier of Game of thrones twice in a row knowing fully well it is full of sex and unneccesarily voilence and another tool of the devil to glorify sin and lead people astray.

But the difference between me and you is that I KNOW THAT THERE IS A GOD AND THIS IS A DIVINE PREVILEDGE because i know I can always turn to Him for salvation and repentance.

I am not blind.
