Why do so many on here feel the need to comment on a thread about the risen Christ, and also feel they have to take the piss out of those that do believe?

I don't personally believe, but am amazed at the amount of atheists that appear to feel by attempting to belittle those that do like this, it somehow makes tham big and clever...?

Maybe because we have no respect for religion or those that try to justify it.

Anyway, from the top of my head, Alzeimers is a degenerative disease as a result of deposition of amyloid plaques and neurofibrilliary tangles in the brain. It is usually consistent with old age. It can be managed and controlled but the progression cannot be halted.

It has no relation with religion and as a matter of fact, religion really have no association with your relationship with God, In some cases, religion serves as a hinderance or tool of confusion.

Focus on God and pray that He reveals himself to you.

I'll tell you why. Because if you actually read the thread you'll find that at first, it was all very respectful. Even NF wished people a happy Easter.

But, when somebody comes on here and preaches to you that you deserve to burn in the fires of hell for all eternity because you don't follow their view of the world I think I'm entitled to take offence to that, don't you? I find it absolutely despicable. So yes, people can have their own faiths and beliefs, of course, nobody said otherwise. But when you insult somebody gravely in that way, I think you can expect a reaction, that doesn't make somebody an ignorant disrespectful twunt.

I wished a happy Easter to all those of faith at the start of the thread.
In fact I did it twice.
Then I get some clown telling me that I will go to hell if I don't accept Jesus as my saviour for no good reason.
I'd say that puts him in the wrong,personally,and folk have every right to take the piss in return.
The god squad are not beyond reproach when they lay down the law to the rest of us.
