If you sincerly ask God for forgiveness for your sins, He is always there to forgive.

It's sad to see someone fear something which does not exist and waste their one chance at life with this. Sadder still is our lives are governed by people who are as equally deluded. To me, it all boils down to a fear of reality and unwillingness to accept our insignificance before, during and after life. You're only here once for a very short time, so enjoy it, but if believing in a concept thought up during a time when the world was a very different place, helps to get you through the days, good luck to you, but know that when you die it will pretty much be the same as before you lived...nothing.

I admire your faith, sir!

But why then did Jesus die for MY sins??

Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross as payment for the sins of man. By doing so, he has now given us the freedom to choose whether we want to live accoring to his teachings and go to heaven when we die or turn the other way and live according to the worlds teachings and be completely seperated from God when we die.

This is why we are now able to pray for forgiveness and repent when we sin because Jesus enabled it by paying the ultimate price on the cross.

If Jesus did not die for our sins, we will all be condemned after death.

Our time in this earth is but a blink of an eye in the grand scheme of eternity, which is why our actions here on earth and the choices we make are very important because it will determine where we will end up for eternity.

So I disagree with you but respect your opinion nonetheless.

If your GP told you there was something wrong with you, would you believe them? And would you act on that advice and ask them to refer you to a specialist?

A yes or no answer will suffice.

Jesus was a Blue...

Or should I stay out of this thread, being an evil, dirty woman...?

You best keep out of it. Your lot aren't welcome.

Whilst I am all for tolerance on religious issues I don't think a forum such as this is the place to preach.
Nothing good comes out of stuff like this, and every poster who has ever contributed to similar threads on here isn't going to change their mind.
