I'm with you, there's absolutely nothing enjoyable about hot weather! What could you possibly enjoy?
Apparently if you are over 65 you are probably going to die, so it's been nice knowing you, got 2 really good season tickets front row halve way line East Stand level 3 i will let my daughters sort it out
It'd be fine with aircon and houses built for the heat. Our houses are all lacking the requisite cooling systems and they're made of bricks that trap heat in.I love hot weather, but fuck living somewhere where it's like this all the time, having to put suncream on daily and living with mosquitos and leathering yourself in mozzie repellent all the time.
And the great unwashed smelly cunts.

Sleeping in my car tonight air con on can’t cope with trying to sleep in this.
I don't remember it being unbearably hot, just great for being out on your bike or playing football. The funny thing about 1976 is that I remember it extraordinarily well since I worked that whole summer as a Manchester Corporation parks and gardens gardener in Longsight, as it happens. That was the last time I lived permanently in Manchester. Working outdoors, I don't even remember it being all that hot.
But then, I'd just come back from travelling for a year in Africa. There are hot places in Africa.
It was just a six months contract, so I was out in September.
The thing about that summer, though, was not the peaks of heat. It was the relentless, day-after-day side of it. Hadn't seen that before. Not in Manchester, anyway.
Anyway, it's not heat as such that really makes me suffer. It's heat combined with humidity. Was in Hong Kong in June, 2017. The humidity level was, I would say, in the 80% range. I just ran from one air conditioner to another. Murderous.
I guess technically if it was like this everyday, then our whole infrastructure would be different, so on that basis I could live with it being like this at guaranteed points of the year, with it being cooler in autumn and winterWhat could you possibly enjoy?
Yep, and I doubt that will ever change .... somebody, somewhere will always take a chance in the hot weather.Sad thing is young folk dying due to thinking its safe to swim in rivers etc :(
Let’s hope you don’t usually sleep naked.Sleeping in my car tonight air con on can’t cope with trying to sleep in this.
