Hector Bellerin

Why did it take £100,000 plus to keep him happy if he didn't want to move then? Kane will probably take less than he'd get elsewhere to stay at the Spuds.
Kane is getting 50k a week apparently, the rags would easily treble that.

No biggy, very good player but we can't get everyone we want. There are plenty of other players out there who will improve us and who we could get cheaper. The problem is identifying then soon enough rather than when they become established.

Getting annoyed with being used to get new contracts
Have you noticed how our players aren't linked with other teams at contract negotiation time? Arsenal players, United players are linked to us. It says very loudly and clearly that we are seen as a step up from those teams.

I know what you mean, but good un though that kid,and pretty intelligent as well from what I heard the other week,I feel he would have been a great addition personally
Yeah he would, but I'd like us to be buying the next 'big thing' from now on, rather than the ready made 'big thing'.

Ever heard of this Pablo Maffeo chap?

I agree, this is a good example of finding the talent early and one reason why i'm not arsed about not getting Bellarin, As a big money buy he would be straight into the first team and Maffeo would be pushed out.

i'd rather want City to sign Fabinho
someone with pace, good technique, physical ability.
and most importantly, comfortable to play in the middle.
so that Pep can play inverted fullback in full effect.
i want to see Pep bring back his formation 3-3-3-1 to City.
i find it as the most solid formation. but he need the right player.

Manchester City have made an official bid for Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerín (22) in the last few days. [SPORT]

City are aware that any deal for Bellerín will be difficult and wanted to wait until the season ended before making a formal move. [SPORT]

The last bit...doesn't really make sense to me. We thought we'd wait until our season had finished but not before Arsenal's had finished?

Probably made a bid to let Levy know we won't be messed about.

If he asks for too much, then we move onto Bellerin, etc.
