Hector Bellerin

The latest rounds claim that he would prefer a chance to reunite with Guardiola rather than return to Barcelona, that is if he leaves. He's still got 2 years left on his deal and with today's money I can't see Wenger accepting anything less than 50m

Would be a great signing but I'd say you're talking £60m for him. Ideally we go back in for Laporte as well.

Bellerin---Stones---Laporte---Grimaldo? ------ Not discounting Angelino or Maffeo who could be back-ups to them.

Looks great on paper even if it is football manager-esq.

That's the basis we need to build off though, pace, comfortable on the ball and players to set us up for years to come.

Yes, The Times are reporting Bellerin's preference to join City. I would pay that tbh, we have to fix the FB positions no matter what. I think £40m could do it, if Bellerin really wants the move. After all we paid £47.5m for Stones as well. Fullbacks are very important to a Guardiola side. Grimaldo thankfully would be much less expensive, around £25m probably.

Add a CB with composure and ball skills alongside Stones + a pivot like Weigl and then we are pretty much set.

With the likes of Zabba, Sagna, Toure, Navas, Clichy all ending there contracts next Summer, there is huge potential to bring in some high earners, add to that the possibility of Nasri and Hart possibly leaving permanently next year. I think we could see a major overhaul of our full backs next season. Grimaldo and Bellerin would be a huge step forward.

LB, RB and another CB is going to be next summers priorities IMO. Add to that another midfielder. Can't see Fernando or Delph staying beyond this season. Along with those players you mentioned with their contracts running out.

Be about 40 million in my mind and is very much a Sterling type transfer.

It will take a strong player to do it and Arsenal will throw a lot at him both financially and in the media.

Be great if we pulled this off in the summer!!

Gathering pace.......

Txiki has been in contact with Bellerín's camp and Guardiola has spoken to the player. His response was 'very positive'. [Mundo Deportivo]

My boss is a gooner I'm running out of niceness to deflect his bitterness. However, yes please - I'd love him to be a City player.
