would love to see bellerin stones dijk and grimaldo at city but i just cannot see us getting this lad . we will know by january , if we do not karsdrop is a good alternative
See this thread getting regularly posted on recently. Is there a genuine interest in the lad or is it simply a fan wish? gen question btw
thanksAs per the papers barcelona and city are both interested + fan wish
Hello fellow title rivals.
Reading through this thread, im wondering what you all make of Bellerin's latest development. The direct quotes affirming a desire to stay at Arsenal, and one day captain the club, and the details that Barcelona have given up on their pursuit due to knowledge Bellerin is poised to extend his contract with Arsenal for a further 5 years.
I know a few City fans, and some are still optimistic Bellerin can be lured, although the others think any potential move is dead in the water.
So, what of it - you still think you can sign Bellerin, or should Pep start looking at alternatives?

I think it might depend on how you finish this season. If you blow up again and finish off the pace, some players might think they are good enough to step up a level. That next level is truly competing for the PL and CL each season. Not just being satisfied with qualification.Hello fellow title rivals.

We have just beaten the best team in the world. Not just beaten them, but outplayed them and deservedly beaten them. Bellerin's is a position we are weak in and he might just be tempted to join a team with the best coach in world football, that is ambitious to be the best team, where he would get a lot of game time, win things, and where a mate (Arteta) has gone before.
