Heinze piccalilli never held a candle to norco piccalilli anyway.

Piccalilli in Manchester used to be called London Road.

Funny how brands work. I exclusively bought Heinz Beans. Brought up on them as a kid, ate nothing else to the age of 45. Then they racked up the price due after COVID, so I switched to own brand / value.

After three I treat myself to a couple of tins of Heinz this week... hated them. Eurgh. Not right at all.

It's like my entire life was a lie or something.

Always think the Heinz are way too salty, prefer Aldi myself.

Best Piccalilli I’ve ever had was a jar I bought from Rick Stein’s shop in Padstow about 15 years ago. It was so good that I plan to go back one day and buy another…..assuming it’s not been discontinued of course!

On another note, are Birds Eye Steakhouse Grills still going? “Hope it’s chips it’s chips” ;)
