i think i saw this helicopter. it was over my house and quite low. it was huge black and looked top of the range. i dont know why but i just assumed it was a new shiny police copter as it was so low and looked like it was searching. was in two minds though because it looked so posh and didnt have "police on it". the light was on underneath it which was strange considering it was daytime. had a little red light blinking on and of underneath too

What kind of noise did it make Bob? it sounded very much like the theme tune to the A team but i could be mistaken

was on my way into town about 2:30pm yesterday and police convoy with police outriders and the jags mentioned above came from the Mancunian way stopped the traffic and then headed down Chester Road towards the Pomona.
If It was City related then i'm sure they would have stayed around the stadium longer than an hour
must have been government types.

Pricks - but it didn't make sense. Well it did, very much, but not in relation to the helicopter.
Just waiting for the Glazers mohel (Jewish circumciser - I had to google that!) to turn up as a guest at a match there.
