Help with Design Thinking

Design thinking? You're being productive...

Cardboard delivery boxes that don't self seal.

Self-wrapping wrapping paper for Christmas presents.

The rim on plastic takeaway dishes that's a bugger to get the drops of water out of when you put in a dishwasher.

The mythical properties of Weetabix that make it turn to the hardest substance known to man if left in a bowl.

Sellotape where the end constantly glues itself back to the roll.

All tins should have pull lids.

Bottled fizzy drinks that go completely flat the second you start opening the lid.

Cans should be resealable so if you leave a beer on the side it stays fizzy.

Wow... it would take me a lifetime to think of a list like that, in hindsight my choice of course wasnt ideal after spending years of my life killing any brain cells I had. I'm actually hoping to get a degree in IT this course is my second subject. I was told it was fun... but its actually really difficult. Thanks they will be a great help

Toasters that don't comfortably fit in a slice of Warburton's bread.

It's the biggest selling brand so why don't toaster makers use that as their go to guide for size requirement?
Yes definitely, you should not have to flip your toast half way through. I think some inventors have forgotten the important things and concentrate too much on phones and gadgets....

Tin cans being almost invariably round is a big issue to me.
We’d get about 50%more in our cupboards if all tins were rectangular, stackable and had the same base size.

If I were you I’d build on the good design work that went into that game changer, the wonderful corned beef tin . . which is stackable, opened with a simple slot key and is, itself, very nearly rectangular.
I would like my kitchen cupboards re designed.
They fell off the wall as I had managed to fill the volume by another 50% as I only eat corned beef.

this ones actually an easy one to solve, but you're going about it the wrong way. Warburtons just have to make bread 3mm smaller so it will fit in EVERY TOASTER IN THE WHOLE OF THE WORLD

It is frustrating how the toaster slots are too small.
Maybe Warburtons need to make toasters, they could do them in a range of colours like the bread packaging, and throw a couple of loaves in with each one.
