I've actually got one, and it's that many browsers seemingly don't allow you to right click a link to save it as a bookmark. And there's no way of viewing them in a preview selection like those a start pages.
Which leads me on to the second idea. Very often, when right click bookmarking a link from a list or search leaves you with a string of bookmarks the titles of which are anonymous looking addresses.
I think this is because of the way links are named in lists. The page is a reference to the originating list or search. But the browser should be able us a little bit of logic to recognise you've ended up with multiple similar titles, query the target, and name them according to the unique bit in each address or html metadata from the actual item page, rather than the entry on the list.
This stuff drives me nuts when shopping on line. Comparing dozens of items and several vendors is very, very hard work. It's the same thing when browsing end of year music, book or film lists.
I mean, maybe it's a vendor issue. They might rather redesign so that bookmarking any link to a product will have the item name and theirs, pop out at you. I have to think that would be more likely to lead to more visits to the pages, and sales.
Ach. The web is full of stupid stuff like this. It's generally shooting fish in a barrel. It's just this one seemed like it might actually interest the business owners.
