Never came into my thinking of Spurs being a title contender, but if they keep Bale and get this fella ( don't know much about him) and also being linked with David Villa, if they pull these signings off i don't know yer know, could Spurs be up there??

Kaboul wont be on the bench! He's the defender I wanted us to sign last summer. I thought last season he'd become recognized as one of the best 3 CB's in the Prem but got injured and didn't play. He's a brilliant defender and in a totally different league to Dawson.

If Tottenham go into the start of the season with that team and are around the top near March time they can challenge for the PL.

That team you listed stinks of goals, the midfield looks heayweight but creative and defensively it looks pretty decent.

The PL is going to be very hard to win next season.

I don't get this. I felt the same in the thread about City being hacked. Why do you need to use a database system that is held on some central server or other? Stupid. Scout attends game. Makes notes using pen and notebook. Compiles report and sends it via encrypted email to City. City place it on in-house database. Am I missing something here?

I think you might be missing that there are surely 'freelance' scouts who just reccomend players and if they are bought/sold take a fee. Presumably clubs keep all these on a database then dip into it, or look closer at them, if/when it comes to it.

I might be wrong but that's how I imagine it works
