Loved what did Sven did to the club, and how he represented it.

He was a credit to MCFC, and it's a shame that people want to slag him so much now he's gone.

Of course he won his first 9 games at home. Scraping past Derby, Sunderland, Birmingham, Villa and Reading to name a few.

If Hart had missed that kick off the line against Newcastle we would have been 2 down. This was the only game when I felt entertained at home. We had eight men behind the ball at home for most of the season and it was fucking boring!!!

Sven did well with us, he turned around a team that had finished 15th and only 3 points off relegation in consecutive seasons to a top table one, his hastily brought in signings gelled quickly and well (Petrov was the pick of the bunch), and we beat the rags twice. Even though we collapsed at the second half of the season, and the humiliations against Boro and Chelsea, overall, it was a good season, Sven did a good job. I bet the people here saying he was crap and lucky, were probably the ones up in arms after the Fulham home game, when news filtered through he was going to be sacked at the end of the season.

Having said all this though, I do not want to see him back, I think it would be a step backwards. I'm fully behind Hughes.

Cant believe people think Sven was a poor manager (the anger is quite funny though). He did pretty well with England (robbieB nice stats) and he did ok with City, albeit with a bit of money. His problem for me is the motivational side, the second half of last season was a joke and you could see that, just like England v Brazil when we were losing but they had 10 men, he ran out of ideas. I dont think he suits the Prem really, probably better in Italy/Spain. You cant forget the double over the rags though, that was nice.

What ever happened for the 8-1, should well be overlooked as getting into Europe probably helped the sale situation for Thaksin to to ADUG. After all, a club in a European cup is more valuable than one not in one!

You judge too harshly and are ungrateful for the adventure this club now enjoys because of Sven. That's a pretty worthless trait in a fan.
