Hernanes is a good player but I'm not sure where he would play? He used to play further back but has been playing ad a CAM for Lazio for most of this season and he doesn't play wide so im curious as to where he'd play in our squad cause the only spot I can see him playing is deep which im pretty sure he can do.

Not thrilled about the idea of paying more than 15m for him tbh
Really? Great vision, scores a fair few from midfield, good touch and exceptional with either foot.
His age scares me dude.. plus if he takes a full season to adapt to the league its pretty much like a wasted season. Just not keen on paying a lot for someone who before you know it will be on the wrong side of 30
Fair enough

He's a box to box midfielder but it is true that he's been been moved much deeper than last year, great with both feet, loves step-overs and can beat players quite easily, with that said you would have thought he's not the player that has high defensive work-rate. I can tell you now you will not be disappointed, he battles hard in the midfield and loves to put a foot in, and hes a set piece specialist. with that said he has every attribute to be successful in the premierleague.

I would love him here at city and he would defo improve us.

He looks a very decent midfielder, confident, hard to knock of the ball and has an eye for goal plus 2 good feet.

I would have to go along with the other comment though about his age at 27, he would have to be able to slot straight into the team and gel quick with the other players.

He could possibly be an alternative if we were not able to get the likes of Isco or Paulinho who are both highly talented and still only 20 & 24

Saw the midweek match that ended Lazio 0 -2 Juventus at the Olimpico on Wednesday.

Sadly for him, he saw little of the ball and appeared a little inconsequential against Conte's 3 - 5 - 1 - 1 formation. which he used again last night against Milan which stifled Robinho, El Sharaawy and Price Boateng. Balotelli was suspended.

Hernanes is though a very talented player and would certainly be an asset to a club like Liverpool, Everton or suchlike - but we need a step higher.

Arturo Vidal springs to mind. A bid of €32m would be successfulI, I would wager. Whether from us, Real or Bayern. Bayern reportedly offered €60m for him and Claudio Marchisio (reportedly turned down by Juve last Summer).
