Juve wasting that Pogba money on this generations top bottler
They're also after Matic and Rakitic, if they get them three for the price of the Pogba money then they've done some superb business.

You and me must have very different ways of judging when somebody is wound up or not.I did not say it was good value. If I wanted to say that, I would have said it. Higuain is one of the best in Europe and has been for many seasons. If they sign him, stands to reason it will be a very high fee. I can't really see why you are getting wound up by this.

You think they will get Matic and Rakitic for about £30m?They're also after Matic and Rakitic, if they get them three for the price of the Pogba money then they've done some superb business.
Gundogan's. He's a fine player, but has undoubtedly struggled pretty heavily with injuries so far in his career. What long-standing injury concerns are they then?

I would not say any fee of that amount is good value, but I understand why one of the top strikers in European football, over a period of years, would go for a near record fee. What surprises me are the fees being discussed in the English transfer market for average players. You and me must have very different ways of judging when somebody is wound up or not.
You mentioned poor value in relation to other clubs signings so forgive me if I was to take the very reasonable assumption that you think the Higuain deal isn't.
Is he a top striker though Marv? Is he going to be the difference between them going one further in the CL or not? They are likely to win the league with or without him anyway so they are basically laying those huge sums in the hope they win the top prize in Europe - which I don't think they will.I would not say any fee of that amount is good value, but I understand why one of the top strikers in European football, over a period of years, would go for a near record fee.
