Hillsborough verdicts reached

Yes... But not for the reason you think to ridicule me for.

Lads are more likely to have been considered scum and treated as such by this same police force, whereas ladies would not.
Therefore I think it would be more likely to provide the 'desired' verdict with an all male jury.

No intention to ridicule, apologies if you thought this was the case.

Interesting day ahead.

Whatever the result this is going to continue for a long time yet. There is already another private investigation going on ready to act on whatever the decision is. Sure some won't like that, but for today I just hope those 96 and their families get the justice they deserve. Anyone who's followed this inquest closely knows that the fans were 100% innocent.
Apart from 2 jurors apparently.
Would be classy, if City did a small token of recognition tonight - armbands, given the importance and significance of this decision.

What's this private investigation you mention?

Just because anyone finds that it wasnt a case of unlawful killing doesnt mean that they think supporters are to blame.

Don't think we should do anything to mark the decision at this stage either.

Are you actually serious?? or do you mean the fans that sadly lost their lives were 100% innocent? which of course is 100% true.

The mods better be on full alert from 11:00.

I agree it won't end after and wouldn't be surprised if the families go on to sue SYP should the verdict go their way.

Question 4 is also a “yes” - errors or omission by commanding officers. It’s this:

First answer given
Jury says “yes” to question 1.

Do you agree with the following statement which is intended to summarise the basic facts of the disaster: “On 15 April, 1989, 96 people died in the disaster at Hillsborough stadium as a result of crushing in the central pens of the Leppings Lane terrace, following the admission of a large number of supporters to the stadium through exit gates.”

Question 6, they key question, "Are you satisfied, so that you are sure, that those who died in the disaster were unlawfully killed?" Jury answers "Yes"
