Hip-Hop Heads

The Herbaliser are a good British group (Very Mercenary is a classic album), and pretty much anything on Ninja Tune is reliable.

Depends what you're into i suppose. Innit.

Been checking out some Mos Def on Youtube - thanks for the tip. He's fucking brilliant.

Loving some of the solo stuff that the Wu Tang lot did as well.

Can't stop listening to Memory Lane by Nas. What a track.

The modern stuff can fuck right off.

couple of years ago me and my friends were at a club in new york and this song came on for the last track of the night and here is these 3 aussie white boys singing these lyrics.......
"I want black people to be free, to be free, to be free
All my people to be free, to be free, to be free
Oh black people to be free, to be free, to be free" lol

but in saying that i had a black bird in shock cause to quote her "ya from australia and know mos def?!!" which resulted in her grabbing my head pashing me and from there the night got better and better.........ah happy days :D lol

All brothers and sisters should be free under the sun. If you know what the lyrics are about, then feel free to be critical and laugh at these Aussie Hip Hop kids.

Otherwise, I think it's cool they never felt embarrassed to express themselves. That's rare.
