Big big game on Tuesday. Hoffenheim lost at home today against RB Leipzig 2-1.

I would expect something like this:

...................Ederson.............
..Danilo....Stones...Kompany...Delph
................ Fernandinho............
..........Gundogan.....Bernardo.....
..Sterling.........Aguero.........Sane.....

Leipzig is a don't-want-to-have-possession-and-like-to-counter-team like e.g. Liverpool - Hoffenheim had more possession than Leipzig had. Hoffenheim played without their first four central defenders (not all injured but probably rested for Tuesday). The special about this match was that Nagelsmann, the coach of Hoffenheim, will be coaching Leipzig next season. That was already announced prior to this season.

Every team is different - Bayern usually has difficulties playing against Hoffenheim. Could be that it might be a walk in the park for you guys - but don't expect it.

Important game and vital that we take something from the tie. Two wins, a draw, and three defeats for Hoffenheim in the League so far, and they've scored as many as they've conceded. German team, so expect a tough game.

Hoffenheim lost to Bayern and Leipzig and drew with Dortmund. They lost in Düsseldorf because of a late penalty (who parked the bus) prior to their first ever CL match when Kramaric missed two must-chances.

Thankfully we cruised Brighton so should be pretty fresh as this is a must win

Ederson
Walker Stones Laporte Olek
Gundogan Dinho Bernardo
Sterling Aguero Sane

Swap out Aguero for Jesus if he is a risk for next weekend

I would play Foden instead of Gundogan, but I can't see Pep going with him in such an important game

As I said, expecting nothing but a very tough game. There's quite a leap from playing most teams in England to playing CL teams, who are technically better and who tend to punish mistakes, and we need to be ready from the start.

The Lyon defeat has made this a pretty big game now, and one that we can’t afford to lose. Expecting some changes with an eye on the Liverpool game, so imagine Stones, Gundogan and possibly Kompany will all play.

Have to agree, think Danilo will get a start as well. He played well midweek and Walker was a bit off yesterday imo.
