Hoffenheim played without their first four central defenders (not all injured but probably rested for Tuesday). The special about this match was that Nagelsmann, the coach of Hoffenheim, will be coaching Leipzig next season. That was already announced prior to this season.
Every team is different - Bayern usually has difficulties playing against Hoffenheim. Could be that it might be a walk in the park for you guys - but don't expect it.
Hoffenheim lost to Bayern and Leipzig and drew with Dortmund. They lost in Düsseldorf because of a late penalty (who parked the bus) prior to their first ever CL match when Kramaric missed two must-chances.
I know about that and I honestly expect to have zero influence on the team, especially for this match, exactly because it's their first ever CL group stage experience. They've worked hard to get there, they will be highly, I mean highly motivated...
As others have already said, losing to Lyon has made things extremely complicated in the group, this is a must win game for City. The club cannot afford an early exit from the CL, I have no doubt Guardiola and the team will give everything for the win. Liverpool can wait...
